Our mission
We are a small, no-frills and down to earth team who genuinely get satisfaction from seeing our customers leave with a smile on their face. We strive to make fashion more sustainable and accessible for the every day person. At Dressed By Jess we are constantly working to increase our available range of sizes, maintain our stock in premium condition and create a warm and welcoming feel in store.
If you are sick of other dress hire stores only focusing on size 6 & 8 or gone to the shops and not been able to find anything you like, then Dressed By Jess is the place for you. We have carefully a carefully curated collection that has cherry-picked the best pieces from your favourite brands. We have something for you, whether you are after the current trends or you need something that is bra-friendly, has no cut-outs and is made from supportive fabric.
Jess fell into business as a 21 year old student when she when halves with her Mum on an outfit for a friend's birthday. She'd seen people hiring clothes on Facebook and decided to give it a go. After paying it off, she did the same for the next 21s. And the next, and the next!
Jess' Mum, Linda came on board as the collection grew. Linda took care of customer service, styling girls from a bedroom in the family home and Jess managed all of the online aspects of the business. It was 5 years before Linda was ready to retire and Jess decided to take the leap and move the a retail store in Osborne Park. Emily and Bianca then joined the team.
